Graduation recap

Graduation weekend was absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Mary Alice and Sara came to Tuscaloosa on Friday night, and we all ate pizza and ice cream. Then Mom and Dad got here around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. My graduation was a little long, but we all made it (Dad and I even snuck in a little nap!). Instead of going home between my graduation and Cole's, we got a snack at the Arby's near campus. Then we sat through a second graduation. It was exciting, though, to finally graduate and be finished with school.

Dinner Saturday night was so much fun for both Cole and me. Both of our families were there (minus Rob, Miles, Emily Joy, and Baby Miles), which is the first time that has happened since our wedding almost four years ago!

My co-worker and friend Connie got us a private room at her country club AND she got a beautiful arrangement of flowers for the table, 2 bottles of wine, and cards for Cole and me. We were shocked and incredibly thankful for her thoughtfulness.

Sunday morning, my family came to our house for breakfast/brunch to celebrate Mom. It was great. Mom felt really good all weekend and looked great. We were just all so happy to be together.

I think this weekend just reinforced for me how blessed Cole and I are to have such wonderful families who support us in everything we do. We could not have made it through the last three years (or the last 25 years!) without their love and support. Seriously. And just recently I've realized that not everyone is blessed with such an amazing network of people who love them unconditionally. I hope to never take it for granted.

Now if we can just sell this house...
