Tonight I made a recipe I found in Real Simple. I put sharp Cheddar cheese in the polenta instead of Gruyère. We added a salad, and we had an easy and delicious dinner. I especially love that this recipe has just a few ingredients. That way it's easy to pick up what I need to make it without needing a list.
Hopefully we'll continue this cooking streak. I have found that it's much more satisfying to cook (and do the mandatory cleaning afterward) when we make something new and different. Cleaning up after spaghetti just doesn't sound like much fun, so I'm always on the hunt for new recipes. I've found a few other new ones that I'm planning to try soon. I'll let you know how those turn out.
