Pictures!

Here are the pictures!

The dining room set we got from Craigslist from a seller who actually lives just a couple of streets down from us:

And my belly picture. I feel MUCH bigger than this, and I probably am by now. I was almost 17 weeks in this picture and am now almost 19 weeks pregnant.

New, New, and News

Lots has been happening in the Gresham house since I last blogged. First I'll tell you about the two new things: a new kitchen is coming and a new dining table and chairs are here!

We decided in January to look into redoing our kitchen. When we bought the house, we knew we would eventually want to make some changes in there and now seemed like the perfect time. We're basically demolishing it all and putting in new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, appliances, etc. I might even change the color since it's now yellow just like the rest of the house. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty yellow. But I think I'm just ready for a change. I'll post before and after pics for everyone to see. Right now the start date is April 5, so I've been busy this week trying to make the last few decisions. On of the most exciting parts of the redo is the addition of a half bathroom where our pantry is now. I think we're really going to enjoy having that half bath.

The dining room table and chairs just moved in yesterday. I was randomly looking at craigslist, which I very rarely do, and happened to find this set at a great price. As it turns out, the sellers live a couple of streets away from us and have tons of connections to Cole's parents. It's definitely a small world. Anyway, we looked at it in person Monday and decided to buy it Tuesday. We finally were able to pick it up Thursday night. I think it looks great in our dining room and matches our buffet wonderfully. Unfortunately, Blogger isn't letting me upload pictures right now, so I'll post a picture as soon as it's working.

And now for the news, which I'm pretty sure everyone who reads my blog already knows...we're expecting TWINS in August! We are so excited and can't wait to meet them. We are not going to find out what gender they are (even though Cole has protested this decision). I've already done a little work on the nursery, so I'll start posting pictures of the progress. The bedding and cribs should be shipped in a few weeks hopefully. We got to see the babies at our last appointment on Wednesday, and they were so big! They are both measuring right on track, even for singletons, which is great. I hope it continues. And, since they're getting bigger, so am I. I'll post a picture as soon as it will let me.

I feel like it grows every single day. I'm pretty sure I felt them move last week, but it's not dramatic enough to be sure sure. I'm pretty sure that I'm feeling them move around pretty regularly now. It's really fun. I can't wait until Cole is able to feel them too.

So, that's what's happening our our world.
